Addicted that MMA is a hazardous sport... What would a typical policy (coverage, premiums, etc) look like? Do you positive of any insurance companies that specialize in ensuring fighters?
A: I've included a relation to a youtube video with Tito Ortiz where it is said that no fighter in the UFC is provided with any understanding of insurance through the organization. Dana White claims it is too difficult to insure his fighters. It happens at the 3 summary mark.

Can I do an amateur MMA fight without having health insurance?
Q: I am 20 years old and am 210 lbs of muscle and I am very healhy. I'm interested in doing an tyro Mixed Martial Arts fight but am concerned because I don't have health insurance. Is there insurance companies that lid something like that? Because even though I feel I could be very dominat, accidents could happen. Please advise.
A: Look into Aflac. I just be familiar with that you could get some sort of coverage for boxing/mma/sport related competition. Im not 100% sure-fire, but check it out.
